Seynour J. Baum starts the aircraft division of Brewster & Company

1929

Seymour J. Bbaum leaves Brewster & Company to form Seymour J Baum Inc.

1933

BH Aircraft is founded; Builds fuel tanks for Charles Lindbergh

1940's - 1950's

World War II Aircraft - BH Aircraft

1940’s

BH Aircraft manufacturers critical parts for World War II military aircraft

1947

BH moves to new large facility in Farmingdale, NY

Early 1950’s

The company manufactures intake pipes for Pratt & Whitney 4360 piston engine, which powers 26 types of military aircraft.

Mid 1950’s

As the jet age arrives, BH shifts its processing capabilities accordingly

1958-59

BH fabricates critical multi-head spud injector component for X-15 rocket plane engine

 

1960's - 1970's

BH Welcomes The Space Age

1960’s

BH Aircraft is called upon to manufacture rocket engine components for use in space missions

1970’s

Parts manufactured by BH become commonplace in military planes, as well as the space shuttle

1980's - Today

BH acquires Granger Machine & Tool of Indiana
